Why UNFILTERED?
Unfiltered black cumin oil is better than filtered oil! All the active ingredients of the seed are still present. The oil is original as it comes out of the oil press, i.e. all turbid and suspended substances are still completely contained and not filtered out!
Effect of black cumin oil
The cold-pressed oil is said to alleviate digestive problems, inhibit inflammation and microbes and regulate the immune system. Externally, the oil is used for skin and hair care as well as for special skin problems such as psoriasis or neurodermatitis. Black cumin oil is ideal for refining various salads, marinades or sauces. It has an aroma that gives your dishes an oriental spicy note. The oil is ideal for hair care. It can be massaged into the ends of the hair either pure or diluted. Black cumin oil can also be used wonderfully for skin care. Black cumin oil contains valuable nutrients, trace elements, vitamins and provitamins (polyunsaturated fatty acids, vitamin B1, B2 and B6, vitamin C, vitamin E, biotin, selenium, zinc, copper, beta-carotene).
Recommended intake
One teaspoon of black cumin oil once or twice a day about 30 minutes before meals or with meals or as an addition to various dishes. Shake the bottle well before use.

I like this black cumin oil. It tastes ok and has many health benefits for hair and skin. I mix it in my conditioner for a well moisturizing hair mask. It smoothes your skin.
I wanted to try this in place of olive oil and it works and tastes great! It's got a slightly different flavor profile and the bottle is very aromatic. Definitely worth a shot if you're looking to mix things up in your kitchen.
Black seed oil has a good variety of uses, and I never personally cook with it. As like a medicine/health shot, I have a small spoon of it straight, or have it mixed with honey and ginger. But I primarily use it for my hair, scalp, and rough skin (elbows and knees). This one from Bayvital has been great and I can't find much to complain about. It came in very well packaged and stayed intact, smells pungent like it should, and it's also priced a tad bit lower than most offerings. I think the consistency is slightly thicker than most black seed oils I've used, but it's supposed to be a thick oil anyways. The weather is getting colder too, so that could play a role as well.
In recent years, I've heard about Black Seed Oil and substituting it for Olive Oil in the kitchen, but I've never taken the plunge. I'm glad I finally did. I brushed some on to a baked potato and it turned out perfect. The aroma is much stronger in the bottle than after using it in cooking. The bottle I received was well protected in a cardboard, and well sealed. This oil is very nutritious and healthier than many cooking oils.
