  1. Cancellation Policy

Consumers are entitled to a right of cancellation under the following conditions, where a consumer is defined as any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor related to their independent professional activity:

As a consumer, you have the right to cancel the purchase contract for products purchased on Prado.de within 14 days without providing any reason. The cancellation period is 14 days from the day you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us (Prado GmbH, Berliner Ring 14A, 64625 Bensheim, Germany, email: info@prado.de, telephone: +491632287445) of your decision to cancel this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or email). You may use the sample cancellation form provided below, but it is not mandatory.

  1. Consequences of Cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we are obliged to refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs incurred if you selected a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without delay and no later than fourteen days from the day we receive notice of your cancellation of this contract. For this refund, we will use the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless otherwise explicitly agreed upon with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this refund. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately, and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of the cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the expiration of the fourteen-day period. You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only responsible for any diminished value of the goods if this loss of value is due to handling that was not necessary for checking the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

Exclusions or Early Expiration of the Right of Cancellation

The right of cancellation does not apply to contracts for the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.

The right of cancellation expires prematurely in contracts for the delivery of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, if their seal has been removed after delivery.

The right of cancellation does not apply to contracts for the delivery of newspapers, magazines, or illustrated periodicals, except for subscription contracts.

The right of cancellation expires prematurely in contracts for the delivery of audio or video recordings or computer software in a sealed package if the seal has been removed after delivery.

The right of cancellation does not apply to consumers who, at the time of the contract's conclusion, do not belong to a member state of the European Union and whose sole residence and delivery address are outside the European Union at the time of the contract's conclusion.
